Halloween Party

Noah had his 1st Halloween Party at school. Look at all the stuff he scored! And he's not even 2 yet! (some is from Aunt Lynn, thanks Aunt Lynn!) They sure start kids early on sugar and goodies. We love his teacher. She gave all the kids their own little pumpkin and goody bag. Two of his classmates also gave out goody bags. Looks like we will be making Christmas goody bags for his school friends! ;-)

Riding on a DonkeyHorse

Noah was too young to ride on a real horse but he still got to ride a donkeyhorse! He got a kick out of his short ride. This was in Pigeon Forge,TN.

Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies

We had a fast fly by visit to the Aquarium. Julie was feeling very sick so we didn't get to stay long. Noah and Jeremy still had fun!

Trip to the Mountains

We went to the Smokey Mountains last week. This was Noah's first trip up there. We had a great time even though Julie and Jeremy got sick! Since we went during the week it wasn't very crowded. We took Noah up in the National Park and walked the start of the Appalachian Trail. He loved it! You would think he'd be scared walking along the ridge of a mountain, but nope! He had a little trouble stepping over the logs and rocks on the trail but that didn't stop him. He wore Mommy and Daddy out! When it was time to stop and turn around, Noah wanted to keep going. LOL. He's quite the little Mountain hiker. We love going to the Mountains this time of year. The leaves are always so pretty.

Big Brother Noah

Yep it's true! Noah is going to be a big brother next summer! We are excited. Noah has been practicing saying "big brother". Hopefully by the time the new baby arrives he'll have it down. My first appointment and ultrasound was Monday. Everything looks good and baby # 2 is due June 1, 2009. Baby's heart rate measured 171. My new doctor says she won't let me go to 40 weeks like I did with Noah. She is concerned the baby might get too big since I have gestational diabetes. I'm not real worried about it since I was able to get Noah out at 40 weeks. But the idea of going before 40 weeks will probably sound great closer to time. Anyways, Noah's sibling will probably be born sometime the end of next May!

Here's baby's first picture! 8 weeks 2 days.

Pumpkin Patch!

Jeremy had the first weekend in October off so we headed to the local Pumpkin Patch. We had a blast! The weather was a little warmer than I hoped for but that's okay. When I was young it was almost always cool weather for the trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Times are changing! This year it didn't really cool off until the end of October.

Enjoy these pics! Noah seemed to really have a good time this year.

Noah goes to school

In August Noah started going to Mom's Morning Out (School) 2x per week. He goes on Wed and Fridays from 8:30-12:30. We tell him he's going to "school" and he usually goes and gets his backpack. The first couple of weeks he cried when I dropped him off but is doing better now. He looks so big walking into his classroom with his Thomas the Train backpack on his back. Noah seems to love being there with other kids and playing on the playground! I've noticed a difference in the way he plays since starting school. He is learning how to play on his own! I can't believe how big he is getting. Where did my baby go? :-)
