We are getting ready for Noah's 2nd Birthday! It's hard to believe he will be 2 on Wednesday! We plan to take some cupcakes to his school to share with his friends. So today we bought some trial run cupcakes so that Mommy could use the cute picks on top for his school cupcakes. After his nap he was allowed one early Birthday cupcake! Maybe this wasn't such a good idea! After Daddy helped him eat his cupcake he decided he wanted more! So when Mommy and Daddy weren't looking he sneaked into the kitchen and started his own birthday celebration. We found him covered in pink icing and saying "yum yum". What a silly little boy!

It's a boy!

Noah will have a little brother! The 20 week appointment went great. We got to peak inside and see baby brother. He was wide awake! We weren't able to get a good profile picture because he was turned away. But we did get a nice clear look between baby's legs!
He looks cute! He kind of has a nose like his brother but maybe a little more pointed. At one point we got to see him "buck" me. He seemed to be playing a little game with the ultrasound tech. Every time she would press down on my belly he would stick his rear end up and kick off with his feet bucking me. It was neat to see that at the same time I was feeling it! Everything looked good and he is a healthy boy weighing about 14 ounces. We are excited and blessed by this new life. Hopefully Mr. Noah will enjoy having a little brother!
Here are some pictures of our ultrasound pictures. We don't have a scanner so this is the best I could do. The face shot is looking down directly at the baby. You can only see one eye because of shadows. The second picture is the "money shot". An arrow points to the boy parts between his two legs. :-)

Tubes for Noah
Noah is having a little surgery Friday January the 16th. We took him to an ear specialist to check his hearing. His hearing is good but a little off. They also found that he has fluid in both ears. He has gotten so many ear infections and colds in the last 2 years that we are hoping this procedure helps keep him healthier. The doctor is also a little concerned that the fluid could be keeping him from talking more. So even though we were hoping we wouldn't have to go this route we've prayed about it and think it needs to be done. Please keep our sweet little boy in your prayers Friday morning that surgery goes nice and easy. Please pray that he won't have any pain and that these new tubes will help Noah.

Big News!

Noah went pee pee on the big potty for the first time ever!! We were so excited and a little surprised that he did it that easy. Every time he goes he gets a sticker to put on his potty chart. He is doing great so far! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of him! Noah thinks it's a lot of fun to use the big potty. Here's some pictures of our big boy.
